COWBOYSOUL & CATWALKMUSIC

That's how we've been describing our music style. Almost each of our songs has it's own style and atmosphere. So just to give it a name (e.g. get tagged on the various sites) .. Though our style sofar is hard to define, somehow it seems to 'cover the cargo'. :-) This double debut album features a wide variety of styles and musicians from different disciplines such as MAI (vocals), Ino Kruijssen (vocals), Robert van Kwakkelstein (piano & keyboards), Nicko Christiansen (sax, member of the Livin' Blues), Gio Harthoorn (bass), Tony Ynot (vocals), Jan Kliment (harmonica, member of the HotFootPowder Bluesband), Astrid Kies (vocals), André van Solinge (guitar) Inge Wezendonk (vocals) and many more. It's release is planned April, 2012

THE MAN AND HIS MUSIC ON THE NET

We released 7 videos for the forthcoming album, mainly hosted on Youtube which got a lot of publicity and were doing extremely well. For whatever reason Youtube deleted our Themanandhismusic account. Over a 500.000 views, lots of nice comments and friends.... gone with the wind. So in 2010 we reuploaded everything again under the account CatwalkMusic over there. Sofar were not a live band, we mainly rely on our website, bandcamp, facebook and last.fm. You are very welcome to join us over there!

PROJECT THE MAN AND HIS MUSIC

Musicians, artists, models, photographers, dancers, camera and video-editors are all enthousiasticly involved in the The Hague (The Netherlands)-based project Themanandhismusic. Leading man is singer-songwriter and producer Roberto Tangel. Along with singing, he plays the guitar, piano & trombone. He has been a dancer and club-DJ for years. Working as a dancer in ultra-fashionable clubs as Pacha & Amnesia (Ibiza) and Nelson & The Tube (New York). Being club-DJ all over Europe, residence-DJ in Sinners (Amsterdam) and Danscafe De Tijd (The Hague).

THINGS TO COME

Right now we're working on new songs & videos for our forthcoming album 'CowboySoul & CatwalkMusic'. Our next releases, accompanying the release, will be 'BigBagaBoom' and 'Walk Out The Door' (both as single & video). Shootings of the vids have already begun. Eventually we'll be getting the band together and do live gigs.
